The Empire Strikes!
The day has finally arrived (well, almost)! In less than 5 and a half hours I'll be watching the opening crawl to the final theatrical Star Wars release: Revenge of the Sith. I've heard from a couple of sneak preview goers, and it sounds like a fun film (I've been told that I'd like it, at least).
I didn't think I would be, but I'm definitely getting excited much the same way I had for the last two "episode" releases. Hope really does spring eternal...
This will probably be my last midnight premiere (I'm getting too old for this sort of thing).

I going to say right now that I'm hoping to know two things from this movie:
What's the deal with Force ghosts? Specifically, why does Obi Wan have to inform Vader in ANH the he will "become more powerful" than Vader imagines?
Also, what is the Sith's revenge for? What act prompted their take over of the republic and/or the destruction of the Jedi? I would have thought it was all about galaxical domination.

Hahahaha. Sorry man. No info on either of those fronts. Midichlorians are mentioned, and that's really the only thing that I needed to hear for the sake of continuity.

This may make it into a post of it's own, but there was a little bit of a clue (spoiler!) to where Obi-Wan picks up the force ghost ability. From Qui-Gon! Yes, Yoda tells Obi-Wan that he'll get extra training from his old master, who's learned the skill of stayin' alive after death. Interesting.
